1. All members of any Lodge displaying a current membership card are welcome.

2. Any guest that is eligible for Elks membership may be a guest of a member of this Lodge no more that 2 times per year. This restriction shall not apply to spouses, lady friends, and others not eligible for membership in the Order.

3. All guests are asked to register in the Lodge guest book that shall be located near the front entrance.

4. Any member hosting a guest is to be responsible for guests conduct.

5. Guests will not be allowed without their Elks member host being in attendance in the building, or without previous arrangements made by the member host.

6. Thursday nights are “member nights” in the Lounge. Members are welcome to bring their guests & Prospective members in the Dining Room on Thursday nights, but the Lounge will be restricted to MEMBERS ONLY on Thursday nights.

7. Card playing will be generally limited to the Lounge area, any exceptions will be allowed for special functions.

8. The facility will be open only during such hours as posted at all entrances. Exceptions will be allowed for special functions.

9. Members & guests shall refrain from reprimanding any employee, any complaint shall be brought to the attention of the Management/Trustees/Exalted Ruler.

10. Any member issuing a bad check shall lose all check writing privileges until such time that recovery is made. A $20.00 fee will be charged on all bad checks. Guests may write checks only with Management/Host approval.

11. Only Lodge #1490 members will be allowed to charge and is due an payable on the 10th of the following month. Exceptions may be allowed for banquet room groups by the Management. Any abuse of credit will be addressed by Management/Trustees/Exalted Ruler.

12. Hats & caps may be worn in the Lounge only. All Elks and their guests shall refrain from wearing hats or caps in all other areas of the building. Appropriate dress will be expected in all areas of the building. Public functions in the ballroom is to be controlled by Management.

13. Any unruly behavior or profane language will not be tolerated from any member or guest and may be grounds for termination and/or expulsion from the building.

14. Elks spouses will be accepted when displaying their card. This is to include widows of deceased members.

15. Management/Trustees/Exalted Ruler together will determine if and when to use a greeter.

16. A copy of these House Rules will be posted at all entrances, Lounge, Dining Room, Ballroom and outside all entrances to the restrooms.
